Hastelloy alloy is suitable for chemical industry with oxidizing and reducing medium.The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes hastelloy alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion. In addition, the tungsten element in hastelloy alloy further improves the corrosion resistance. C-276 hastelloy alloy is one of the few materials that can resist the corrosion of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution.
